The Nigerian Army reportedly said they have arrested a Boko Haram suspect on its list of wanted insurgents.
According to a statement issued by its spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, on Wednesday, September 7, the suspect, Muhammed Bulama, is number 105 on the list of wanted Boko Haram insurgents.
He said Bulama was arrested with two other suspects; Ardo Abba Muhammed and Muhammadu Kaigama on September 6 in Azare community, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe.
Usman said the suspects who were arrested riding on horses and a bicycle shepherding some sheep to market, during interrogation, confirmed his photograph on the wanted list and further revealed that he specialised in rearing animals for Boko Haram.
The spokesman said the suspects further confessed that they were in the village to sell the animals as they had run out of cash in their hideout.
Usman said the suspects also claimed and confessed that they were also making efforts to get some food items back to the camp for the Sallah festivity.
