Ondo Election Heat Up As Troops Recover Machetes, Guns, Ammo Ahead Ondo Election [Photos]

Nigerian troops have intercepted machetes, guns and ammunition in a vehicle allegedly leading the convoy of Alliance for Democracy (AD) candidate, Olusola Oke in Okitipupa.
The news are coming from Sahara Reporters, who earlier reported on Mr Oke being arrested without indicating the reason on Friday, November 18.
However, Olusola Oke has denied the arrest and said that the rumours are spread by detractors who are afraid of his growing profile ahead of the Ondo election that will take place on November 26.

Meanwhile, Aketi Support Group, a coalition of groups in favour of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forth-coming election in Ondo state, has warned Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos state to desist from an alleged disbursement of N10 billion to help the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Olusola Oke.

Olusola Oke was a top contender for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the state governorship election coming up in November 2016. He decamped to the AD after the APC primaries.
