One Die As Suicide Bomber Detonates Device In Dalori, Maiduguri

A suicide bomber has detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the Dalori quarters in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the incident.
According to the Media Relations Officer of the Agency, Sani Datti, “Our search and rescue officers are already on their way to the scene, we will give you details soon.”
Meanwhile, the Civilian Joint Task Force reported that the explosion occurred after a suicide bomber stormed the Dalori quarters mosque in the early hours of Tuesday, during the morning prayers, killing self and one other worshipper.
Few meters from Dalori quarters is the Internally Displaced Persons camp, home to 23,000 people.
